Editorial Policy

Redounds is an independent fashion and beauty publication. This page explains how we choose topics, put our guides together, handle images and advertising, and fix mistakes.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

What we cover

We publish practical guides on hairstyles, nail art, makeup and everyday style. The aim is simple: ideas you can actually use, explained clearly enough to take to a salon, a nail appointment or your own wardrobe.

How we put a guide together

  • We start from what readers are looking for and what is trending this season.
  • We look at what established fashion and beauty publications, stylists and brands are saying, and link to a source when we rely on it.
  • We write for real life, so upkeep, cost, hair type, skin tone and occasion get a mention where they matter.

Images

Some of the images on Redounds are AI-generated illustrations, created to show a style clearly. These are labelled “Photo generated by AI” in the caption. Other images carry a credit to their source. If you own an image that appears here and would like the credit changed or the image removed, tell us through our contact page and we will review your request.

Advertising and independence

Redounds is funded by advertising. Ads are served by third-party networks, including Mediavine. Advertisers do not choose our topics or see articles before they are published.

Not professional advice

Our content is general information and inspiration. Hair, skin and nails differ from person to person, so check with a licensed stylist, nail technician or dermatologist before a big change, especially a chemical treatment, or if you have a skin or scalp concern.

Updates and corrections

Trends move and details change, so we revisit and update articles. If you spot an error, tell us through our contact page with the article link and what is wrong. We review every report and correct the article when a mistake is confirmed.
