Eyewitnesses described a chilling scene where men in a truck forcefully seized her, leaving behind her purple shoes.
On May 6, 2014, her lifeless body was discovered in an abandoned building in Culiacan.
Yuriana’s body showed signs of torture, including head injuries and limbs secured with electric cables. The body was wrapped in white sheets, and no traces of firearms were found.
The autopsy revealed that the cause of death was attributed to suffocation resulting from hanging.
